Meerawell publishes doctor-led health education for working adults. Our initial focus is eye and screen health, workspace comfort and the relationship between sleep and everyday symptoms. Guidance is general education, not a diagnosis or a personal treatment plan.
Who writes and checks the guidance
Dr. Samir Serasiya is Meerawell’s founding author and a practising ophthalmologist. “Written by” identifies the author. A clinical check is shown separately only after that specific version has been checked. A check by the author is labelled as an author clinical check; it is not presented as independent review. Ophthalmology expertise does not imply specialist expertise in every nutrition, sleep or technology topic.
How evidence is used
- Prefer clinical guidelines, systematic reviews and relevant primary research. Link sources near the claims they support or explain their role in the reference section.
- Describe the population studied and distinguish associations, mechanisms and demonstrated clinical outcomes.
- State important uncertainty, harms and practical limits. A biologically plausible explanation is not proof that a treatment works.
- Equipment comparisons identify whether information comes from hands-on testing, manufacturer specifications or inference. No hands-on testing is claimed without a record.
Corrections and scope
For a factual or source-link problem, contact the editorial team with the article URL, the disputed sentence and a supporting source where possible. Please do not send private medical records. We assess reports against the available evidence and correct confirmed errors. Meerawell is not an emergency or personal consultation service.
